varvarin-f	ЦАРИГРАДСКАТА KOHФEPEHЦИJA НА ВЕЛИКИТЕ СИЛИ Цариградската дипломатска конференција започнува во месец декември 1876 година. Учеству-ваат шестте европски Велики сили и Турција. Изработен е општ проект за давање автономија на Бугаpија. Се предвидува територијата населена со Бу-гари да се раздели на две области: Источна со центар Трново и Западна со центар Софија „со преовладешто Бугарско население". Сите представители на Великите сили ги примат така оцртаните гра-ници. Султанот го блокира решението и откажува да даде автономија за Бугарија. Тоа дава основа на Pyсuja да започне вojна со Турција, која завршува со потпишувањето на Санстефанскиот мировен договор на 3 март 1878 година. Договорот ги определува границите на Бугарската држава приближно по тие определени од Цариградската конференција. Западниот вилает, кoј ќе има за главен град Софија, ќе биде составен од санџаците: Софиски,Видински, Нишки, Скопски, Битолски /без две јужни кази/, еден дел од Серски санџак /трите северни кази/ и од казите Стумица. yurukov	What is so surprising - the guy says "70% bulgars". What did I say - "it was stated that the reagion of macedonia was occupied by bulgarians". The rest are serbs, albanians, greek and a little bit of turks. How many per cents of "macedonians" are there in Macedonia according to official statistics. yurukov	In all documents until the creation of the Macedonian country in the middle of the 20'th century, it was stated that the reagion of macedonia was occupied by bulgarians. Noone ever doubted that. There were numerous independent researches on the topic by french and british etnographs.

You'll have to read more my friend :) BLACK HAND OVER EUROPE by Henri Pozzi (printed in 1935) Henri Pozzi is French and his mother is from English descend. And here's the chapter: http://www.hic.hr/books/blackhand/bulgarian01.htm So apparently, there are documents from the middle of 20 century from French/English etnographs that use the word "liberate", not "occupied" :)

yurukov	I used occupied in the meaning of inhabited by bulgarians. All counts of the population stated that the region has an overwellming bulgarian population. Henri Pozzi speaks of macedonians, but in the he does not state that they are anything but bulgarians. He refers to macedonians as "those who live in the region of Macedonia".
Duhot na Vovata	OK, "occupied" could have a double meaning, hense the confusion. More appropriate term would be "inhabited" (or populated maybe). Just a suggestion.
