Vo Muzejot na Skopje na 07.04.2006 bese prezentirano KONECNO nesto interesno:
"Paintings of Costumes Made of Thread and Textile"
Exhibition of paintings that present folk costumes made of thread and textile will be opened in the Skopje Museum on Friday evening at 20,00h. A total of 30 artworks are part of display entitled “Costumes in Images”, done from a non-typical painting material – wool and cotton thread, sterling silver and silk.
The author of the idea, drawing and design is architect Katerina Sazdova-Dzipunova, while Milka Serdarovic-Zaharieva made the sterling silver decoration. Artist Vladimir Georgievski will open the display.
The exhibition’s objective is to present the authenticity of Macedonian folk costumes through paintings. The drawing, the design and the performance merge the forgotten values (folk costumes) with the new, contemporary trends in art.
The display will be open until Tuesday.
