This assistance helped re-build Skopje. Let's not allow the world to treat us like a bunch of ungrateful barbarians by being disrespectful to one of our closest neghbours. I'm not Greek and if I was I wouldn't consider being called a Greek as an insult. The bottom line is we're all humans on this planet and we should behave with humanity towards others, regardless of how others behave towards us. If we allow others to determine how we treat them then we are giving away our power to those people. We're not living anymore in a world where we lynch people who commit crimes. If we did then we wouldn't be any better than those same criminals who want to cause harm to us.

It is not important who help Macedonia in 1963; the most important is that the Greece community in Australia is second after the English community. And I guess you ain't speaking for the Iraqis and their situation today. Do they live in the world you are speaking of? The dream of yours are not possible, how much you and I want peace all over the world every day it's not possible. Jesus tried but since his days the world didn't get better, maybe worste in some situation. The thing is you have to meet your enemey face to face and stand up against him. You can not preach peace on him when he will stand outside your door with a knife in his hand. This is happening everyday in the world and UN isn't present to prevent. Drop the UN and other politican inventions that are here to "prevent" cruelties. We know that even the peace orginizations are politicaly influenced. The best thing is to follow your own countries ideas based on a historical perspective and to support your people against any oppresionists.
