"Guns don't kill people... people do...
But I think the gun helps. You aren't going to kill to many people by sneaking up behind them and yelling "BANG!". You'd have to be pretty dodgy on the heart to die from that one."

SOme seens in the docu- movie was actually stage...such as the Rifle in the bank scene.
Regardless what I found shocking was that there aer more guns per capita in Canada then in the US...but we have much less killings/murders commited with guns.
It was a good film to make you think but he is way to far on the left for my tastes

Boris, have you watched this documentary?
You are absolutely correct, guns don’t kill people, people kill people, but perhaps it’s time that the NRA stop rubbing salt into the wounds of those grieving and show some compassion. I felt it was extremely insensitive that days after the massacres took place, Moses himself (Charlton Heston) visited the cities concerned and was singing the NRAs praises.
I feel that gun control should be exercised.
Many pointed the finger of blame at Marilyn Manson for these childrens behaviour yet no one said “hey wait a minute look at all the violence our government encourages” (as listed in the initial post) perhaps it’s the government and not Marilyn Manson that influence our childrens lack of respect for other humans.
Ironically when questioned as to what Marilyn Manson would say to the people of Columbine his reply was, the only sensible one, “I wouldn’t say anything, I would listen to what they have to say.”

what was the point ? I mean was there a thesis that was proven at the end? Did I miss something , or this was a bunch of strong powerful facts thrown in together? It seemed he had a good idea but was too sloppy with it.He gave the right wing way too much stuff to bitch about, unintentionally , but rightfully. |
