| n/a | Greetings. I'm an American food writer and I have two questions about this classic Macedonian "comfort food." First of all, do the words "Tavche Gravche" have a literal meaning that can be translated? And, secondly, is the dish ever made with the huge beans that the Greeks call "gigantes"? The recipes I've seen call for something like a white kidney bean, or what the Italians call cannellini. Thank you to anyone who can help me with this!! |
