PRESS RELEASE
February 22, 2005 (TORONTO, ON)-Funky Boodah Records, a
Canadian house label founded in Markham, Ontario, is
releasing the next Boza (www.djboza.com) newborn. "So
Appealing" and "Work It" are consistent with the pattern of
artistic quality seen in the 2004 third and fourth quarter
releases "Jack the Ripper" and "She's Looking Good."
Team Boodah is looking for a repeat performance similar to
Boza's first smash on Funky Boodah Records. The expression
of interest in "She's Looking Good" by Moist Music (New
York) for the upcoming Donald Glaude "This is Me"
compilation is exactly what the group is striving for.
Test market feedback was immediate and overwhelming. The
list of local radio stations supporting Funky Boodah
Records in its initiative to launch Canadian artists into
the global arena is steadily increasing.
The club crowd has been very vocal about their growing
affection for compositions by Boza.
"Some of the best house music coming out of Canada in
years" - DJ Delirious, Friday nights live to air on
Z103.5FM (Toronto).
"So Appealing" with its inviting vocals and trademark disco
kicks will keep the heads shaking and the feet moving. On
the flip side, "Work It" leaves you feeling twisted as the
tribal groove stomps on your heart and lungs and leaves you
gasping for air!
Mastered for vinyl by Soundbluntz and distributed by Greg
Stickman's Digital Muzik Inc.
